When’s it all happening?
MONDAY 12th – THURSDAY 15th December 2011…
The Spot!
SAME AS LAST YEAR…The camp is being hosted by Southcity Church in Ramsgate, on the KwaZulu Natal South Coast.
Take in this beautiful setting on the awesome Durban South Coast…best beaches…great views….and lots of fun!
Cost?
We are keeping the costs the same as last year…YEBO! You won’t beat this deal!
There are 3 cost options available
Option 1: The “FIND YOUR OWN WAY THERE OPTION”…R400-00 for everything including food, accommodation, everything….EXCEPT TRANSPORT!
Option 2: The “REAL DEAL!” R500-00 - You get everything that Option 1 offers PLUS TRANSPORT from Pietermaritzburg or Durban! Buses will be arranged to take you down to the event and bring you back afterwards…It’s that easy!
Option 3: The “DAY RATE” – This is specifically for those who live near enough to drive through to the event every day! For this price you”ll get all three meals and everything else that comes with it…but obviously you’ll be sleeping at home. And the price is….R250-00 (or R70-00 per day). We would highly encourage to stay on site though, as lots of the fun and games at any camp kicks off at the most unexpected times!
What Must I Bring?
- All the usuals!
- Bedding…sleeping bag, mattress, pillow!
- Some beachwear….
- And remember…it’s going to be HOT, so don’t forget your sun-cream, and anything you might need!
- Please bring your own cutlery and cup for hot chocolate and juice!
- Boys….No hair-straighteners please! Seriously!
ALL THE ANSWERS YOU’LL NEED:
Question 1: This is called a ‘camp’. Will we be camping?
Well, not in a tent! Southcity Church is based at an amazing school and all the classrooms are going to be converted into insane dorms, where you and your friends can have the most insane fun together!
Question 2: What about hot showers?
Yes, you’ll be showering in style, with hot water…all you’ll need.
Question 3: Do I have to be a part of a ‘youth group’ to come through to Live the Life 2011?
Absolutely NOT! All are welcome to come but please know that this is a Christian Camp, but even if you have never been to church you are welcome to come. I promise you…You will never be the same again!
Question 4: How do I pay?
ALL IN 3 EASY STEPS:
- Fill in the on-line registration form
- Follow up by making your payment into the Live the Life bank account
- Lastly, please fax the payment confirmation through to 033 386 6396 and mark it “ATT: Live The Life 2011 payment – …YOUR NAME….”
Alternatively, email the confirmation through to info@livethelifesa.co.za.
Question 5: Who’s running the show at this camp?
This camp is organized and led by a number of different churches, who have all been involved in this event for many years! This team leads the event, and the churches represented are:
- Church of the Great Shepherd (COGS)
- Glenridge Church
- NCF (Pietermaritzburg)
- Red Point Church
- Hillside Church
Question 6: Who can my parents contact to enquire more about the camp, or in the case of emergency?

Question 7: What will we be doing?
Every day and every time is different but generally there will be a meeting in the morning, where we will all gather together for some radical worship and someone will share the Word.
After that time, the day is all yours! You can hang around the facility, take in some sun at the heated pool or play touch rugby with your mates. We will also be running shuttles to and from the beach on specific days, to allow people to take in the beautiful South Coast beaches.
Then, we’ll come together for dinner and follow on with another evening of radical worship and times together.
Question 8: Do I need to bring some spending money?
All food and drinks are provided at meal times and coffee times. There will be a Tuck Shop open during the free times, should you want to buy the basics. These will include cooldrinks, chocolates, etc.
